George grew up in London with a dad who directed the very first episode of EastEnders and a mum who did hair and makeup at the BBC, so telly was the family business, and he studied Fine Art and shot Super 8 and premiered his first short at Cannes at twenty, which everyone now agrees was the peak, so he moved to Amsterdam and spent fifteen years producing campaigns for 72andSunny, Wieden+Kennedy, Mother, GUT, TBWA, AKQA and BBH, and he still shoots and cuts his own films, so he knows what a camera can and can’t do before anyone finds out on the day.
